Heal and find yourself

Founder’s Message

Dr. Sonali Mishra Founder & Wellness Guru, Kunjikaa Wellness

"Awareness is the first act of healing. Everything else follows from there."

Kunjikaa Wellness was not created as a brand. It emerged as a response — to suffering, to confusion, and to the silent emotional struggles that many carry behind functional lives. My journey has been deeply personal. From early childhood, silence felt more familiar than noise. Growing up in the spiritual environment of Haridwar and Rishikesh, surrounded by sacred traditions and the presence of Maa Ganga, contemplation came naturally. Yet life was not free from struggle. I have experienced depression, emotional turbulence, and the inner conflicts that many hesitate to speak about. Meditation became not an escape, but a disciplined path of self-restoration. With a foundation in science, psychology, clinical hypnotherapy, yoga, and breathwork, I began exploring how ancient spiritual practices could be structured in a way that modern minds could understand and apply. Over time, what transformed me began transforming others. Kunjikaa Meditation was born from this synthesis — a method rooted in scripture, refined through psychological understanding, and delivered with compassion. My work is not about mysticism detached from reality; it is about helping individuals find stability within their own lives — as professionals, parents, leaders, and seekers. Kunjikaa Wellness stands for balance — between science and spirituality, discipline and devotion, inner silence and outer responsibility. Transformation is possible. But it begins with awareness.

What Keeps Us Pushing

To Make a Compassionate and Self-Aware Society

"Meditation is not the withdrawal from life; it is the cultivation of clarity with which life can be lived."

At the heart of Kunjikaa Wellness lies a simple conviction — a self-aware individual builds a compassionate society. Modern life has amplified stress, anxiety, sleep disorders, and emotional instability. While technological advancement has accelerated progress, psychological resilience has not grown at the same pace. Ancient yogic sciences offer structured tools for restoring this balance. As Swami Vivekananda observed, “Silence is the language of Om. We need silence to reach our Self.” Silence, in this context, is not withdrawal — it is clarity. Our vision is to make meditation and yogic awareness practical, structured, and accessible. By integrating contemplative traditions with evidence-informed psychological frameworks, we help individuals regulate emotions, strengthen mental stability, and cultivate deeper self-understanding. We are not merely teaching techniques; we are nurturing awareness — one individual at a time.

My cousin persuaded me to join Dr Sonali's navaratra meditation and I joined. She is a very enlightened soul and has a lot of wisdom to offer in her Q&A rounds, podcasts and daily sessions. She is a perfect embodiment of Gyan and Bhakti marg and this reflects in her guided dhyaan sessions she conducts. A Guru can appear in any form, it doesn't necessarily be a saint who has renounced worldly pleasures. I have benefitted tremendously with all the discipline and calm she has brought in my life and would definitely recommend her to beginners as well as seasoned sadhaks.
